We went pyjama hunting today, in Basingstoke. No pyjamas found, but having got lost on the way home (we went the pretty way) we came across The Grange at Northington. Neither hubby or I have ever heard of it, despite many years working for English Heritage. It’s a beautiful building, with dramatic trees, gently rolling landscapes, and an aura of Pride and Prejudice. The stormy skies gave a slightly Gothic atmosphere to our visit.
