Every Christmas I allow myself to start a new project. This Christmas I wanted to play with my little loom.
I have a big bag of my hand spun chunky yarn scraps, left over from my mitred square blanket, which gave me a lovely lot of bits to use up. I had a copy of Big Weaving on a Small Loom by Fiona Daly to work from.
Brilliant book, full of great instructions and patterns to try. I've worked my way through the weaving directory from the book and I'm now starting to design my own. All planned, honest!
I have plans for all my sample squares. They're going to be a jacket, which means of course I've got to add more chunky hand spun wool! 😁🧶
