Bluebell tea light

This week's inspiration image is years old. I used to take Mum to Bulbarrow woods in Dorset to look at the bluebells every year. This is one of the images I took to practice making the background blur while focusing solely on the foreground object, a process called Bokeh

I used the bluebell as the main image for my felted tea light holder on the workshop I ran this weekend. I was aiming for a blurred background with the felt, and the bluebell standing out in front.

It was a lovely workshop, and my three students have kindly given me permission to share their work.

Bex's. Bex made the robin on the postbox at home after the workshop!

Next week's image is below.
